Multiple communities in Bassa, Bokkos, and Mangu local government areas of Plateau State have been attacked by armed Fulani herdsmen, leading to the loss of 13 lives and several houses being razed. There have been several reports of gunmen attacks in these areas in recent times.

Three people were killed on Thursday evening in Manja. The victims were working on their farm when the unexpected attack occurred, and many escaped with injuries after the intervention of security operatives called to the dreadful scene.

There was another report of gunmen attacking Juwan, in Bokkos LGA, on Thursday night, where ten persons died and many sustained serious injuries. The incident was barbaric and inhuman, according to the Chairman of Bokkos Local Government Council, Amalau Samuel.
