Speed Darlington has made a startling revelation about his tumultuous history with law enforcement. In a recent freestyle video, the “Bangdadadang” artist claimed to have been arrested a whopping 19 times and detained on five separate occasions.

Speed Darlington’s troubles with the law began in October 2024 when he was arrested following a petition filed by Burna Boy. The petition stemmed from Speed Darlington’s suggestive comments about Burna Boy’s affiliation with Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The rapper was re-arrested in November 2024 on accusations of cyberstalking Burna Boy and spent nearly two months in Kuje prison before being released on a ₦20 million bail.

In a recent social media post, Speed Darlington alleged that he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt on his way home from a club in Lagos, just days after his release from prison.
