In the enduring memory of his late friend and colleague, Sound Sultan, Nigerian music sensation Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has paid homage even two years after his passing.

On Sunday, January 14, 2023, 2Baba took to Instagram, sharing a poignant tribute and reminiscing about moments from Sound Sultan’s career that left an indelible impact on his life.

In the heartfelt post, 2Baba disclosed that, despite the realization of their shared dream for the success and recognition of African and Nigerian music, he remains steadfast against easily yielding to the “new cats” in the industry. As the New Year commences, 2Baba expressed his intention to share many more stories with Sound Sultan.
