Rapper and business mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is publicly voicing his disapproval of any potential presidential pardon for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing serious criminal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.

“[Diddy] said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. I’m gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy,” 50 Cent wrote in a since-deleted May 30 post to Instagram captured by Rolling Stone. “Donald doesn’t take well to disrespect and doesn’t forget who chooses to go against him. While working tirelessly to make America great again there is no room for distraction. He would consider pardoning anyone who was being mistreated not Puffy Daddy.”

The post drew significant media attention, prompting 50 Cent to issue a clarification via another Instagram in response to The Daily Beast’s coverage of his comments. “I didn’t say I would nuke anything,” he wrote. “I simply said I will make sure Trump is aware.”
