Asake reveals how Wizkid initiated the feature on hit song “MMS”

In a recent Instagram Q&A, Asake revealed the surprising story behind his hit song “MMS” with Wizkid.

It turns out Wizkid was the one who wanted in on the track, after producer P. Prime played it for him.

Asake had someone else in mind, but Wizkid’s excitement sealed the deal!

The song dropped on Asake’s album “Lungu Boy”, which smashed records with 9.42 million streams on Spotify in just one day – the most for any African album! “MMS” also broke the record for biggest first-day streams on Spotify Nigeria with 870,000 streams.

Talk about a collaboration made in heaven!
