Chelsea has agreed to sell Romelu Lukaku to Napoli for a total package of €45 million, comprising a fixed fee of €30 million and additional payments of up to €15 million.
The Belgian striker will sign a three-year contract with Napoli, valid until June 2027.
Lukaku’s move to Napoli comes after the club’s first-choice striker, Victor Osimhen, indicated his desire to leave.
With Napoli seeking a new leader upfront following a 3-0 loss to Verona in their season opener, manager Antonio Conte has secured the services of a proven Serie A talent.
Lukaku’s previous experience in Italy with Inter Milan and AS Roma makes him a strong addition to the Napoli squad.
