The Federal Government has suspended senior Nigerian Correctional Service officers due to bribery allegations involving controversial crossdresser Bobrisky.

A blogger claimed EFCC officers received ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges against Bobrisky, who denied the allegations. The Nigerian Correctional Service and EFCC are investigating.

The suspended officers include Michael Anugwa, Sikiru Adekunle, Ogbule Samuel Obinna, and Iloafonsi Kevin Ikechukwu.

Their suspension allows for further investigation, with results to be made public upon conclusion.
