Osun state governor Ademola Adeleke popularly called the “dancing governor” has once again shown his famous dancing steps during a reception for 2 Super Falcons players, Rasheedat Ajibade and Rofiat Imuran (who are both from Osun).

The governor hosted the 2 players at his residence in Ede, his hometown, to honour the players following the impressive run of the Super Falcons at the Women’s World Cup. And in a now viral video, the “dancing governor” was seen dancing to indigenous songs and the talking drum (gangan) along with the 2 players.

Rasheedat Ajibade played 3 matches for the Falcons, recording 2 assists in the 3-2 win over co-hosts Australia and also scored a penalty in the 4-2 shootout loss to England, while Rofiat Imuran was an unused substitute throughout the tournament.

The Governor had earlier put a call through to Ajibade a day before the reception to congratulate her on her appearance for Nigeria and also arrange for the welcome-home event.
