Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has taken to social media to reflect on the passing of her stepdaughter, Zeenat, who was the daughter of her ex-husband Saidi Balogun and his first wife, Sherifat Balogun.

After Saidi announced Zeenat’s passing on October 5, Faithia shared her thoughts on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the support she received during the difficult time.

“In the past week, I’ve reflected and prayed following the sad loss of someone dear. Thank you to everyone who reached out, checked on me, and kept me in their prayers. Your support has been a great source of strength,” Faithia wrote.

She continued, “May Allah bless you all for your kindness and understanding. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead. May Zeenat’s gentle soul continue to rest in peace.”

Faithia’s heartfelt post was accompanied by a touching tribute to Zeenat, with the Islamic prayer “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” (Verily, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return).
