Nollywood Mourns the Loss of Veteran Yoruba Actor, Ayobami Mudashir Olabiyi (Bobo B)

The Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, is in mourning following the passing of renowned Yoruba actor, Ayobami Mudashir Olabiyi, popularly known as Bobo B. Olabiyi, a prominent figure in the Yoruba film scene, died after a prolonged battle with illness.

Yeye Bose Akinola, Governor of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) in Oyo State, confirmed the news. Olabiyi had missed a scheduled movie shoot in Oyo State in September due to his health condition and was hospitalized at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan.

Before his passing, Olabiyi held the position of National Secretary of TAMPAN. Yeye Bose Akinola expressed her condolences, stating:

“I announce the sad passing of our TAMPAN National General Secretary, Chief Alhaji Musadshir Ayobami Olabiyi ‘Bobo B.’ May God grant his family and all TAMPAN members the strength to bear this loss. Insha Allah, Amen.”

The news has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with colleagues, friends, and fans mourning the loss of a legendary talent.
