Governor Umo Eno Bags Doctoral Degree in Public Administration from University of Uyo

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has achieved a significant academic milestone, earning a Doctoral Degree in Public Administration from the University of Uyo.

He successfully defended his thesis, titled “Government and Private Sector Development: A Study of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Akwa Ibom State.”

This research aligns with Governor Eno’s vision for enhancing SMEs in the state, emphasizing the importance of government-private sector collaboration for sustainable development.

Governor Eno dedicated his achievement to his late wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, who inspired him to pursue his academic goal. He thanked the University of Uyo and academic community for their support.

In a tweet, Governor Eno expressed his excitement: “I’ve successfully defended my Doctoral Degree in Public Administration… My thesis is a blueprint for strengthening SMEs in Akwa Ibom. This accomplishment honors my late wife… Thank you to the University of Uyo, my professors, and everyone who supported me.”
