Tragedy struck in Enugu State, Nigeria, when Chikwado Celestine Eze, 26, died during a ritual intended to ensure his success abroad.

The native doctor, Enuwa Odugu, 48, and Eze’s father, Uwakwe Eze, 67, have been arrested for conspiracy and murder.

According to police spokesperson Daniel Ndukwe, Eze was buried alive for 1 hour and 30 minutes as part of the ritual. He was rushed to the hospital and confirmed dead.
