Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky, whose real name is Okuneye Idris, has reportedly fallen ill while being detained at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.
After spending a night in a police cell, Bobrisky was rushed to Falomo Police Hospital for medical attention due to complaints of chest pain. A source confirmed the development, stating that he was transferred to the hospital in an ambulance.
Bobrisky was arrested on Monday night by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border in Lagos while allegedly attempting to leave the country. Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding his arrest, and he may remain in detention pending a remand order.
NIS spokesperson Kenneth Udo described Bobrisky as “a person of interest” and described the arrest as part of efforts to secure Nigeria’s borders. The FCID is expected to release a statement on Bobrisky’s situation later today.
