Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, was taken to Falomo Police Hospital after experiencing severe chest pain while in custody at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.
After spending a night in a police cell, Bobrisky was transported to the hospital in an ambulance. A source confirmed the incident, describing Bobrisky’s attire as a black gown and a shawl covering his face.
The hospital visit was allegedly arranged to minimize public attention, as authorities planned to transfer Bobrisky to the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) under the Commissioner of Police’s supervision.
Bobrisky’s health issue arose shortly after the Commissioner’s visit. This incident occurs amidst Bobrisky’s ongoing legal issues.
Bobrisky was recently arrested at the Seme-Nigerian border while attempting to flee to Benin Republic, just hours before a Senate panel of inquiry meeting regarding allegations against him. Reports suggest Bobrisky was avoiding Senate questioning. The Minister has pledged to release the report on Bobrisky’s alleged bribery probe.
