The new wage structure includes:

Grade level 2 civil servants receiving the full N75,000 minimum wage

Grade level 3 and above civil servants receiving a N40,000 increment across the board

Implementation begins October 28, 2024.

Additionally, Governor Nwifuru appointed Dr. Obinna Ezenkwa and Barrister Uchenna Otuh as General Managers of Umuoghara Pulverization Plant and Ezzamgbo Pipe Production Factory, respectively. Their expertise is expected to drive growth in these industries.
