Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington took to Instagram to allege that the Nigerian police have refused to return his two iPhones following his release from custody and subsequent travel to the United States.

Speed Darlington was arrested weeks ago for allegedly defaming Grammy winner Burna Boy but was later released.

He threatened legal action if the police fail to return his phones, stating: “The police in Abuja haven’t given me my phone… Make una give me my phone na. If una wan file criminal lawsuit, make una go on na, I will come to court to defend myself.”

Speed Darlington claimed his lawyer informed him that cyberstalking is not recognized in Nigerian law, emphasizing his innocence.

He expressed frustration, linking the police’s actions to wider issues in Nigeria, saying: “Nigeria is a shithole… That’s why different groups want Oduduwa, Biafra.”

Speed Darlington demanded the immediate return of his iPhones, warning of consequences if they continue to withhold his property.
