Twitch star Kai Cenat is set to launch his highly anticipated second subathon, Mafiathon 2, today (November 1, 2024). Last year’s subathon made history, as Cenat became the most-subscribed Twitch streamer ever, peaking at over 306,000 subscribers.
This time, even before the event begins, Cenat has gained admiration for his plans to give back.
Through his Instagram, Cenat announced that 20% of the revenue from the 30-day subathon will support educational initiatives in Nigeria. The AMP member shared his passion for the cause, saying:
“I visited Nigeria not too long ago and absolutely loved it… I say that to say this: for the next 30 days while I’m streaming, 20% of all revenue will be going straight to the school that I am still currently building for the kids of Mokoko.”
He further explained his commitment to fully funding the project, including staff, classrooms, and uniforms. Alongside this announcement, Cenat posted initial layouts of the school, encouraging fans to support the initiative, saying, “A lot of this support in the next month will help big! Thank you.”
To kick off Mafiathon 2, Cenat has lined up a star-studded collaboration with rapper Lil Uzi Vert, slated for the first day of streaming. The pair previously collaborated in 2022 for Lil Uzi Vert’s hit single “Just Wanna Rock,” which featured Cenat in the music video, now boasting over 166 million views.
Mafiathon 2 promises a lineup of exciting content and heartfelt charity, combining entertainment with a meaningful cause.
