World Champion and record holder Tobi Amusan is through to the final of the Women’s 100 meters hurdles at the World Athletics Championship, after winning her semi-final.
Tobi ran a time of 12.56 seconds to beat Ackera Nugent of Jamaica who ran 12.60 seconds in the second semi-final.
Amusan‘s time of 12.56 seconds is however worse off than the 12.48 seconds she had when winning her heat.
In the final scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday), Amusan will be up against Danielle WILLIAMS (Jamaica), Nia ALI (USA), Kendra HARRISON (USA), Devynne CHARLTON (Bahamas), Jasmine CAMACHO-QUINN (Puerto Rico), Ackera NUGENT (Jamaica), and Ditaji KAMBUNDJI (Switzerland).
