Senator Kevin Chukwu, representing the Enugu East Senatorial Zone, has been suspended from the Labour Party (LP) by the party’s Amurri Ward executives due to alleged anti-party activities and insubordination.
According to Daily Post, the suspension was outlined in a letter signed by the ward chairman and addressed to the Labour Party Chairman in Enugu State, through the Local Government Chairman.
The letter, made public on Sunday, partly reads:
> “Distinguished Senator Kevin Chukwu,

This resolution has been passed due to your acts of insubordination to the party’s leadership, involvement in anti-party activities, and failure to adhere to the party’s principles. Despite multiple opportunities to be heard, you have failed to respond to the party’s requests.
