Nicki Minaj Celebrates The Pinkprint Anniversary with Unreleased Tracks and Record-Breaking Milestones

Nicki Minaj is reaping the rewards of her enduring legacy. Recently, she achieved the highest-grossing tour ever by a female rapper and earned another Diamond-certified single with “Starships.” Keeping the momentum alive, Minaj has released a tenth-anniversary edition of her iconic album The Pinkprint. Originally a massive success in 2014, the album’s biggest tracks have aged remarkably well. However, the highlight of the reissue lies in the bonus content: four previously unreleased songs.

One standout is the upbeat “Turn Ya Cap Back,” featuring Swae Lee. The Rae Sremmurd artist delivers smooth vocals, while Minaj seamlessly transitions between rapping and singing. “It’s Okay” takes a dive into dancehall, with contributions from David Guetta and Davido.

Although a product of its time, it’s a prime example of the mid-2010s dancehall wave in hip-hop, with a beat that still hits hard. The real gem, however, is “Arctic Tundra.” This long-awaited track, leaked in 2019 but never officially released, features Nicki alongside the late Juice WRLD. Their undeniable vocal chemistry makes this song the standout of the collection.

The Pinkprint reissue is a nostalgic yet fresh offering that’s well worth a listen. Share your thoughts on the new material in the comments below, and stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates on your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.
