Federal Government launches National Strategy on Artificial Intelligence

The Federal Government has announced plans to develop a National Strategy on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijjani in a post on Twitter, called on Nigerian researchers to submit their input into the research index.

According to the Minister, AI plays a significant part in economic growth and social progress, with research showing that AI could contribute up to $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030.
