Port Harcourt Refinery Begins Operations at 60% Capacity

The Port Harcourt Refinery, owned by Nigeria, has officially begun processing crude oil, according to Olufemi Soneye, spokesperson for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

Speaking on Tuesday, Soneye announced that the refinery is currently operating at 60% capacity, processing 60,000 barrels of crude oil per day.

The Port Harcourt Refinery, which has a combined capacity of 250,000 barrels per day, resumed operations after numerous missed commencement deadlines.
