President Tinubu chairs first Federal Executive Council meeting

President Bola Tinubu has today presided over the first Federal Executive Council meeting of his administration at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.

The FEC meeting comes after the new cabinet of 45 Ministers were inaugurated last Monday after their confirmation by the Senate.

Also attending the meting are Vice President Kashim Shettima; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

During today’s meeting, the President asked the Ministers to “not allow impossibility in your service dictionary”.

President Tinubu added that he is “ready to listen” and urged the Ministers “not to be afraid to take decisions”.
