Olajumoke Orisaguna, the former bread seller who gained fame in 2019 after being discovered during a photoshoot, has shared her experiences of alleged exploitation by celebrities.
Speaking on the Honest Bunch podcast, Olajumoke revealed that many of the opportunities she participated in were unpaid, despite public claims suggesting otherwise.
She recounted her experience with singer Harrysong, alleging she received no payment for appearing in his music video for Chacha. “I went to Harrysong’s house in Lekki, did a dance for him in his video. He claimed he paid me N400K according to a written statement, but it is false; I did it for free. He didn’t pay me anything,” she said.
Olajumoke also highlighted other instances where she felt undervalued, revealing that she was paid as little as N200K for international work. “They used me for work and didn’t pay me. One paid me N200K after taking me to South Africa for work,” she added.
Her revelations have reignited conversations about fair treatment and compensation in the entertainment industry.
