In a bold move, Nigerian artist Shallipopi has publicly announced his decision to terminate all agreements with Dapper Music and Dvpper Digital. This drastic measure comes after Shallipopi alleged that the companies had betrayed his trust, mismanaged his finances, and disregarded his rights as an artist.

Shallipopi cited three primary reasons for his decision. Firstly, he accused Dapper Music of prioritizing profits over his career growth, due to a blatant conflict of interest. Secondly, he condemned the company’s lack of transparency regarding his finances, leaving him in the dark about his own earnings. Lastly, he denounced the unfair contract that sought to exploit him with an exorbitant 30% commission in perpetuity.

By speaking out against these injustices, Shallipopi aims to raise awareness about the exploitation of artists and creators. He reassured his fans that this development will not hinder his music creation and promised to keep them updated on his future endeavors.
