Bovi Ugbomma Defends Gentle Parenting Approach Amidst Backlash

Comedian Bovi Ugbomma has responded to criticism over his comments on gentle parenting. After revealing that his son breaks televisions when angry, Bovi faced backlash over his approach to discipline.

In a recent post on his X account, Bovi acknowledged that his phrase “for the fun of it” triggered angry reactions. He clarified that he was trying to make a point about gentle parenting and reaffirmed his opposition to physical punishment.

Bovi also addressed his critics, stating that they are free to physically discipline their children if they choose to. He wrote, “If you have children you want to beat, enjoy. My papa no physically beat me and I turned out almost ok.”
