South African Man Murders Ex-Girlfriend, Shares Graphic Photo and Confession on Facebook

A South African man, Sbusiso Lawrence, has murdered his ex-girlfriend, Nontobeko Cele, and shared a disturbing photo of her lifeless body with multiple stab wounds on Facebook. In a video, he filmed himself covered in blood while confessing to the crime.

The chilling content went viral late on Tuesday night, 17 December 2024, following the incident in Durban on the same day. The photo shows Cele lying on her back, her clothing soaked in blood with apparent stab wounds on her neck. In his confession,

Lawrence justifies the murder, claiming that Cele had deceived him and became pregnant by another man while they were still in a relationship. He stated that he accepted the child as his own and took care of them, but the woman later ended their relationship.
