Tabby Brown, a 45-year-old former Playboy model and ex-girlfriend of footballer Mario Balotelli, tragically passed away after complications from a Brazilian Butt Lift and liposuction procedure performed in the Dominican Republic. She died suddenly just days after returning to her family home in South London.
An inquest held at South London Coroners Court revealed that Tabby, who was also a dancer, actor, and fitness enthusiast, had concealed her surgery from her mother. Her family initially believed she had contracted a viral infection while traveling.
Tabby’s mother, Mahasin, informed police that her daughter began feeling unwell shortly after returning from her two-week trip. Paramedics, responding to her collapse, found two puncture wounds in her pelvic area, indicating recent surgery. Despite being cared for at home, Tabby avoided seeking medical help, instead relying on painkillers. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene in the early hours of the morning.
The post-mortem examination confirmed fat embolism as the cause of death, with numerous fat globules found in her lungs. Toxicology reports ruled out alcohol or drug involvement.
Tabby was celebrated for her vibrant personality and successful career, having appeared in Cosmopolitan and Elle and featured in music videos for prominent artists. Her family, who described her as a lover of fitness, food, and baking, paid an emotional tribute, saying:
“She had a big laugh, smile, and a personality that charmed many and matched her beauty. While we are saddened by her premature departure, we take solace in the fact that she lived out her dreams. We love and miss Tabby very much and will always keep her memory close to our hearts.”
