Gabriel Jesus continued his red-hot form, scoring twice in the first half to lead Arsenal to a dominant win at Selhurst Park. His goals came just three days after a hat-trick in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.

Jesus struck on either side of Ismaila Sarr’s goal in a thrilling opening 15 minutes. Kai Havertz added Arsenal’s third before halftime, Gabriel Martinelli scored in the 60th minute, and Declan Rice sealed the rout six minutes from time.

The emphatic win ends Arsenal’s streak of league draws and leaves them three points behind league leaders Liverpool, who have two games in hand and face Tottenham on Sunday.
