A passionate fan who was kicked by Burna Boy after running onto the stage during a performance has shared his side of the story, stating that he holds no grudge against the Nigerian superstar for his reaction.

In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the fan clarified that his actions were not driven by malicious intent but by admiration and a dream of connecting with the Grammy-winning artist.

According to the fan, the incident occurred during Burna Boy’s performance when he ran onto the stage but was promptly kicked off by the singer. Reflecting on the experience, the man revealed two reasons for his actions:

1. Expressing Admiration: He wanted to show his devotion as a fan by embracing Burna Boy.

2. Seeking an Opportunity: As an aspiring musician, he hoped the moment would get him noticed and possibly grant him a chance to perform.

Although embarrassed by the incident, the fan expressed understanding of Burna Boy’s reaction, acknowledging that the artist might have acted out of caution.

“I see my videos flying around about what happened between me and Burna Boy on stage. I didn’t mean to harm him; I just wanted to, you know, as a fan, embrace him. I didn’t know it would turn out that way,” he said in the video.

“For those saying I wanted to harm him, that’s not true. I’m also a musician, and I just wanted to use the opportunity to ask for a chance to perform on his stage that day. I’ve been attending Burna Boy’s shows for a very long time. I’m one of his biggest fans, so that’s what happened. I feel so embarrassed, but I don’t blame him because only he knows what was on his mind at that moment.”
