Nigerian singer Spyro has taken to Instagram to express his frustration with the constant demands for financial assistance from fans and acquaintances. He lamented that being a celebrity in Lagos comes with a hefty price tag, as he is expected to dish out large sums of money whenever he steps out.

Spyro revealed that he spends a minimum of ₦100,000 on “givings” every time he goes out, which translates to ₦300,000 per week, ₦1.2 million per month, and a staggering ₦15 million per year. He emphasized that this financial burden is taking a toll on him, and he often feels drained.

The singer also expressed his disappointment with the fact that everyone wants to take from him, but nobody thinks about his well-being or offers to give back. He stated that even in restaurants, churches, and online, he is constantly bombarded with requests for financial assistance.

Spyro ended his post by giving a shoutout to his fellow celebrities who are going through similar struggles, hailing them as the real MVPs. He celebrated their resilience and understanding in the face of these challenges.
