Roberto Carlos Reportedly Staying At Real Madrid Training Ground After Divorce From Wife

Roberto Carlos has separated from his wife, Mariana Lucon, after 15 years of marriage, according to reports from Estadio Deportivo. The couple, who wed in June 2009, are now facing a complex divorce settlement due to the 51-year-old’s substantial wealth, estimated at £133 million ($166 million).

Reports suggest that Carlos has temporarily moved to Real Madrid’s training base at the Real Madrid Sports City in Valdebebas, while Lucon continues to reside in their primary home.

The Brazilian, who enjoyed an illustrious 11-year spell at Madrid between 1996 and 2007, won four La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies during his time at the club. Carlos is widely considered one of the greatest full-backs in football history, having played alongside stars such as Rivaldo, Ronaldo, David Beckham, Raul, and Luis Figo at both club and international levels.
