Abuja Police Arrest Gospel Singer with Severed Head of Girlfriend

Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, a gospel singer and fitness enthusiast, was arrested on Sunday, January 12, in Abuja. Eyewitnesses reported seeing Ajayi carrying a suspicious black nylon bag near a church in Orozo, Abuja, prompting law enforcement to take him into custody.

A search of the bag revealed a severed human head, believed to be that of Ajayi’s girlfriend. During questioning, Ajayi alleged that the victim had attempted to stab him during an argument, leading to a fatal confrontation.

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder. The arrest has sparked widespread shock, particularly given Ajayi’s background as a gospel singer.
