Court Arraigns Sunday Ozimede For Allegedly Hacking Into Money Point Microfinance Bank Vault And Stealing 1.1 Billion Naira

The Federal High Court in Lagos has arraigned 43-year-old Sunday Ozimede for allegedly hacking into Money Point Microfinance Bank’s vault and stealing a staggering 1.1 billion naira.

According to court documents, Ozimede is accused of diverting customers’ funds across multiple transactions to various bank accounts. He faces charges of conspiracy, cyber fraud, and obtaining money under false pretenses.

Despite the severity of the allegations, Ozimede was granted bail in the sum of 50 million naira. The trial has been adjourned to March 13, 2025.
