Music executive Ubi Franklin has taken to Instagram to express his concerns about the rising toxicity in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

He lamented that the industry is plagued by aggressive rhetoric, physical threats, and conspiracies, which harm not only the industry but also his ability to invest in new talent.

Franklin’s comments come amid a public dispute with singer Spyro over unpaid debts. The two have differing accounts of their agreement, with Spyro accusing Franklin of deception and Franklin claiming Spyro owes him a 10% commission on a car deal worth N105 million.
