A new drama may be brewing between Nigerian rapper Naira Marley and Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo. In a surprise move, Naira Marley shared old chats between him and Iyabo Ojo on his Instastory, sparking speculation about the reason behind the posts.

The chats, which dated back to 2021, showed Iyabo Ojo requesting Naira Marley’s presence at her events, including her late mother’s remembrance party. Another chat revealed Iyabo Ojo asking for Naira Marley’s help in promoting her adopted son’s music career.

Naira Marley’s decision to share the old chats has raised eyebrows, especially given Iyabo Ojo’s recent comments on the death of former Marlian singer Mohbad. Iyabo Ojo had called for justice over Mohbad’s death, which may have prompted Naira Marley’s subtle response. However, Naira Marley has not provided any context or explanation for sharing the chats, leaving fans to speculate about the motives behind his actions.
