Singer Oludipe David, known as Spyro, has revealed that he was targeted with a blackmail attempt involving the alleged leak of a sex tape.

In a series of posts on his Instagram Story Tuesday, Spyro explained that the attempt came after he publicly called out the individual for their wrongdoing.

Spyro, who identified the person as religious, criticized religious figures for being the “worst liars and scammers.” He claimed that many hide behind their faith to cover up their malicious actions and defend their wrongdoings.

He further said, “Don’t be deceived, the biggest scams and liars are the ones at the top of religious ladders. They use holy books to justify their wrongs, play emotional games, and issue threats. The deception is on another level.”

Spyro shared that after calling out the person, they began quoting scriptures while also sending threatening messages about releasing a sex tape and claiming a woman was pregnant with his child.

“I had the messenger tell them to release the tapes… I can’t wait to watch it 😂 Jesus boy tape, GOLD 😂” he added, noting that the tape had never been released. “Rubbish.”
