President Tinubu Signs Bill Creating North-Central Development Commission Into Law

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed the bill creating the North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) into law.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio made the announcement during a session in the Senate chamber on Tuesday.

Akpabio expressed confidence that the NCDC’s establishment would drive development at the grassroots level.

He said, “Let me inform my colleagues that Mr. President has assented to the North-Central Development Commission establishment bill 2024, aimed at bringing development to the grassroots.”

He congratulated the people of the North-Central region, wishing them greater development and peace as the country progresses in nation-building.
