In a shocking outburst, rising star Portable took to social media to launch a blistering attack on music industry heavyweights Olamide and Davido.
Portable accused Olamide of using Asake to undermine his career, claiming that Olamide’s intention was to cancel him out of the industry. He alleged that Olamide’s actions led him to seek solace in Sango, a deity in Yoruba mythology.
Portable also claimed that Olamide took away his producer, promoter, and dancer, leaving him to start from scratch. However, he acknowledged Olamide’s contribution to his hit song “Zazu,” expressing gratitude for the verse Olamide provided.
Furthermore, Portable accused Olamide of being a copycat, stating that he was the originator of the trend of wearing big shoes and oversized clothes, which Olamide allegedly instructed Asake to adopt.
Portable’s tirade didn’t stop there, as he also turned his attention to Davido. He claimed that he was the pioneer of promoting cryptocurrency and Bitcoin in the music industry, but Davido hijacked the idea and presented it as his own.
Additionally, Portable called out Jayplug, a brand he claimed to have promoted and advertised for, only for them to appoint Davido as their ambassador. Portable implied that Davido’s actions were driven by hunger for small deals.
The music industry is abuzz with reactions to Portable’s scathing attack, with many fans and fellow artists weighing in on the controversy.
