Tinubu Orders Ministers to Account for Their Performance to Nigerians

President Bola Tinubu has directed all ministers in his administration to immediately provide an account of their performance to Nigerians.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced the directive during a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday. He stated that the briefing sessions will allow Nigerians to assess the government’s achievements and ask questions.

This move aligns with Tinubu’s earlier commitment to holding his ministers accountable. During their inauguration in August 2023, he had warned them, “I will hold you to that standard we all promised Nigerians.”

The directive reflects the administration’s commitment to transparency and public engagement, ensuring that citizens stay informed about government actions and policies.
