Davido Gifts SUV to Timi of Edeland for 70th Birthday

Davido, born David Adeleke, has presented a GAC GS8 SUV to the Timi of Edeland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, in celebration of his 70th birthday.

The singer, a native of Ede, delivered the SUV to the monarch on Wednesday through Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Chief of Staff to Governor Ademola Adeleke, shortly after an interfaith prayer session marking the king’s milestone.

Meanwhile, a five-day celebration has begun in honor of the Timi of Edeland. As part of the festivities, the monarch will confer chieftaincy titles on prominent sons and daughters of Ede on February 14 in recognition of their contributions to the town’s development, the planning committee announced.

This comes weeks after the Timi of Edeland made headlines for kneeling to greet the Emir of Ilorin.
