Three weeks after undergoing rhinoplasty, content creator Zic Aloma has shared an update on his recovery, revealing the deep emotional reasons behind his decision to undergo nose surgery.
In a candid video, Aloma reflected on how years of ridicule from his siblings and others left him feeling self-conscious about the size of his nose. He recalled being constantly mocked for having a unique nose shape, which made him feel different from his family.
Now embracing his transformation, Aloma proudly showcased his new nose, expressing satisfaction with the results and noting that it would continue to refine over time.
Addressing misconceptions, he emphasized that rhinoplasty is not a “death sentence” and that people undergo the procedure for various reasons, including aesthetics and medical concerns like breathing issues.
“I’ve always had a very flat nose, and if I could have reconstructed it as a child, I would have. But my siblings constantly insulted my nose, calling it too big and ugly. Among us, I was the only one with this type of nose. It made me feel different. But now, I’m happy with the results of my surgery,” he shared.
Aloma hopes that by speaking out, he can raise awareness about self-acceptance and encourage others to embrace their features without feeling pressured by societal standards or ridicule.
