MultiChoice has announced a price increase for its DStv and GOtv packages, effective March 1, 2025.

In a statement to customers on Monday titled “Price Adjustments for DStv and GOtv Packages,” the company said the hike is necessary to maintain its delivery of high-quality local and international content.

According to the new pricing structure, the DStv Compact bouquet will rise from N15,700 to N19,000, Compact Plus will increase to N30,000, and the Premium package will cost N44,500.

For GOtv, the new rates will see GOtv Jinja increase to N3,900, GOtv Plus to N5,800, GOtv Max to N8,500, GOtv Supa to N11,400, and GOtv Supa Plus to N16,800.

MultiChoice attributed the adjustment to rising operational costs in Nigeria, citing currency depreciation and inflation as key factors. The hike comes nearly a year after its last price review.
