Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed a Prince of Lagos, Fatiu Akiolu, as the new General Manager of the Lagos State Signage & Advertisement Agency (LASAA).

In a statement issued by the Head Of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Akiolu’s appointment was  based on his contributions to the advertising industry.

His appointment takes effect from Monday, September 18 and he is expected to resume office and drive the agency towards contributing its quota to Lagos Gross Domestic Product.

The statement added that the governor’s decision to appoint Fatiu Akiolu is part of efforts to restructure LASAA for improved performance and development within the state.

Fatiu Akiolu, who is the son of the Oba of Lagos Rilwan Akiolu, takes over from Adedamola Docemo, who had overseen the agency since 2019.
