Senator Godswill Akpabio has publicly denied allegations of sexual harassment made by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. During a National Assembly plenary session, Akpabio stated that he has never attempted to harass Akpoti-Uduaghan or any other woman.

Akpabio credited his upbringing by his late mother for teaching him to respect women. As a father of four daughters, he emphasized his commitment to treating women with dignity.

Akpabio also highlighted his achievements as a former governor, including an award for being the most gender-friendly governor in Nigeria.

He urged the public, media, and social media users to reserve judgment and await the court’s decision on the matter.
