In a dramatic turn of events, social critic Verydarkman has issued a tearful apology to gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, pleading with her to reconsider the N1.1 billion lawsuit filed against him.

The lawsuit stems from a series of Instagram posts where Verydarkman accused Chinwo of withholding earnings from her performances. Overwhelmed by the financial implications, Verydarkman took to Instagram to list seven individuals who have taken legal action against him, highlighting his inability to fulfill the mounting financial demands.

In a poignant display, Verydarkman sang some of Mercy Chinwo’s songs, imploring her to reduce the lawsuit amount to N5 million, a sum he claims is more manageable. His emotional plea has sparked a mixed reaction, with some criticizing his sarcastic tone while others sympathize with his financial struggles.
