Nigerian actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has strongly condemned Ghanaian television stations for airing her movies without obtaining the necessary licenses. In a scathing statement on Instagram, Oboli expressed her frustration and disappointment at the unauthorized broadcast of her films.

Oboli criticized the Ghana National Film Authority for its inaction, vowing to take legal action against the TV stations involved. She emphasized the immense effort and dedication that goes into producing her films, stressing that intellectual property theft will no longer be tolerated.

In a bold warning, Oboli declared, “I’m coming for you!… You will pay for every one of my movies you have shown without permission!… Maybe you don’t have a television authority in Ghana, but that is not my concern! Coming for you all! Clowns!” Oboli’s statement serves as a stern warning to TV stations and a testament to her commitment to protecting her intellectual property.
