The world’s biggest Afro Beats music festival, Afro Nation, has announced Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy as one of the headliners for its December 19 and 20 event in Lagos- the first time the show is holding in Nigeria.

Burna Boy who headlined the 2023 Afro Nation in Miami, will be performing in a homecoming event where he is expected to bring his stellar stagecraft to bear.

Another headliner for the event is Gambian-British rapper, J Hus, who is one of the biggest Hip Hop stars in the United Kingdom.

Also announced in the first line up of performers are Igbo Highlife singer Flavour, the award-winning Street sensation, Seyi Vibez, and the breakout Ghanaian rapper, Black Sherif, with more line up announcements still to come ahead of the show.

The first Lagos edition which is taking place at the Tafawa Balewa Square, will see Nigeria join Ghana as one of the African venues for the festival. The Afro Nation show promises to be a historic celebration of culture, music, and unity, set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos, the beating heart and cultural powerhouse of West Africa.
