Nigerian travel content creator Alma Asinobi has made history as the first Nigerian to travel across all seven continents, completing the journey in just 71 hours. Her expedition began on March 15, 2025, in Antarctica and concluded in Sydney, Australia, on March 23, 2025.

Alma set out to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to visit all seven continents, a record currently held by Johnny Cruz Buckingham at 64 hours. Despite facing challenges such as visa complications and flight delays—common obstacles for Nigerian travelers—she successfully carried the Nigerian flag across the world, making it the first and fastest Nigerian flag to visit every continent.

To further mark the achievement, Alma invited people from different countries to sign the flag, aiming to set another Guinness World Record for the most-signed travel memorabilia.

Celebrating her success, she wrote on social media:

“And… scene 🎬 Our Nigerian 🇳🇬 flag is officially the first and fastest flag to visit all 7 continents! 🤯🔥 I guess my work here is done. I cannot wait to be homeeeee 🥹 #AlmaChasingContinents #AlmaHasChasedContinentsAndIsGoingHome.”

Her journey has inspired many, especially Nigerian and African travelers, proving that determination and resilience can break barriers and put Nigeria on the global travel map.
