OGC Nice Football Player Alexis Beka attempts suicide after relationship breakup

Football player Alexis Beka Beka who plays for OGC Nice in France almost committed suicide on Friday after he threatened to jump from a bridge.

Alexis Beka attempted the suicide after a recent breakup in his relationship. Earlier today, he went on the bridge which is approximately 100 meters high and made to jump down, before he was talked out of it by police officers and a club psychologist.

While the negotiations were ongoing, emergency services, firemen, and the military were involved in the operation.

As at the time of filing this report, Beka has been safely removed from the scene and is fine.

The Club in a statement on their website confirmed the incidences, and said they were supporting him. Meanwhile, they also cancelled all media activities, which were scheduled for Friday afternoon.
